Keep America Beautiful – Community Restoration and Resiliency Fund
In quick response to the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma arriving back to back in August and September 2017, the nonprofit organization Keep America Beautiful launched the Community Restoration and Resiliency Fund. The fund will provide financial aid, technical support, in-kind donations, and other resources to affiliates and community partners whose residents are facing the widespread and long-term impacts of these climate fueled extreme weather catastrophes. The funds will go to green infrastructure projects to improve resiliency, and to building community engagement through social programs. In the future, the Fund will continue to support communities outside of those impacted by Hurricane Harvey and Irma.
