Jylisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University and a Master of Arts in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and organization development. She has held key roles in a variety of industries where she successfully implemented innovative HR initiatives that enhanced employee engagement and retention.
Jylisa is a certified Human Resources professional who is an active member of the Society of Human Resources (SHRM) and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) contributing to the broader HR community.
Jylisa Scruggs was born in Boston, MA, but grew up in the historic Eatonville, FL and currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her family. She stands for and lives by the quote from the late great Maya Angelou — “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
