Cheryl Kwapong

Executive Assistant

Cheryl Kwapong is a dynamic force hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, with roots originally from Ghana, West Africa. Her life’s journey has been fueled by a deeply ingrained personal mission statement: to help advance the global Black population in every way possible. Cheryl recently graduated with honors from the University of Georgia (UGA), where she honed her skills and commitment to making a positive impact on society.

Prior to joining The Chisholm Legacy Project, Cheryl’s journey took her to the halls of Capitol Hill where she worked with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and eventually the US Cannabis Council, tackling critical issues such as prison reform, voter suppression, and Black maternal health. 

Beyond her professional pursuits, Cheryl is a multifaceted individual with a deep appreciation for creativity and self-expression! In her free time, she enjoys horoscopes, dancing and immersing herself in personal creative endeavors. She is the proud co-owner of two brands, one a genderless fashion house, and the other a women’s brand based in Ghana.

Cheryl is thrilled to be part of The Chisholm Legacy Project’s executive administration team! She sees this as an incredible opportunity to further her mission of advancing the global Black population and is grateful to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share in her soul work.
