Mothers and Others for Justice
Mothers for Justice was formed in 1993 by Christian Community Action in response to the so-called Welfare Reform movement, which drastically limited government aid and threw many families into crisis. Mothers were the group hardest hit by the policy change – yet their voices were often missing from the discussions surrounding it.
