Black Folk Herbalism

Black Folk Herbalism will highlight the rich history of Black folk medicine and the use of herbs for healing and conjuring. The course is an overview of the black experience as it relates to medicinal herbs, the historical political and social journey, legal constraints, and herbal recipes and magic for common and uncommon beliefs and traditions. “Monolithic” is not a word that describes the African American culture.
