Josie Karout

Josie Karout is an analytical and empathetic behind-the-scenes supporter of progressive individuals, organizations, and causes. Her educational background is in applied anthropology, a praxis-based field with a focus on improving systems with solutions backed by sociocultural research. She earned her MA at UNC Charlotte where she wrote her thesis on unpaid grassroots organizing in her city.
